Valon, a leading AI platform for mortgage servicing, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own client reporting data models and pipelines. You will ensure data is production‑grade, auditable, and accessible across the organization and customers, partnering with data team to improve infrastructure and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering at tech or financial services.
• Strong SQL; proficient Python; experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Experience building client reporting and data models for production use.
• Ability to design data contracts and observability for regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop client reports and reporting pipelines with BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow.
• Design and maintain production-grade data models and analytics layers.
• Define data governance, quality, and observability practices.
• Provide SQL expertise and build dashboards with Hex or Looker for stakeholders.
