Mercor is hiring an Analytics Engineer to build data infrastructure, analytics, and automation powering decision-making and operations. In this high-ownership role, you’ll partner with business leaders to define roadmaps, identify bottlenecks, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

You’ll leverage SQL, dbt, Python, and cloud data warehouses to build scalable pipelines, dashboards, and models, while using AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical role.
• Strong fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, Python, dbt, cloud data warehouses, and BI tools.
• Exceptional autonomy: independently identify problems, define roadmaps, and deliver high-impact projects.
• Strong business judgment and communication: work with senior stakeholders and translate ambiguity into action.
• Rapid learning and AI fluency: quickly master unfamiliar domains and leverage AI tools.
• Proven track record of execution: move fast, own outcomes beyond formal responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own roadmap: partner with stakeholders, identify high-impact problems, and prioritize solutions.
• Build scalable data infrastructure: develop data pipelines, models, and metrics using SQL, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Own analytics end-to-end: translate business problems into production-ready data models and dashboards.
• Automate business workflows: identify bottlenecks and build automations to cut manual work.
• Leverage AI to multiply output: use AI coding agents and tools to accelerate analytics development.
