Job summary

Mercury is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to accelerate data-driven decisioning across teams. You’ll build durable data products, scalable pipelines, and governance-friendly solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with a modern data stack (Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, Omni, Hex), apply dimensional modeling, and leverage AI agents to speed experimentation and insights for product, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Analytics or Data Engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with a modern data stack and AI-powered tooling.
• Experience designing scalable data products and data contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and dimensional data marts.
• Support development of agentic tooling (Hermes and Ralph).
• Promote self-service analytics and analytics engineering practices.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, and security strategies.
• Develop analytics engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
