Job summary

The Senior Analytics Developer at Oatey delivers trusted BI/analytics solutions across the company, partnering with business teams to translate reporting needs into scalable Power BI and Fabric-based solutions using SQL and responsible AI. This role owns solutions from requirements through deployment and ongoing support, reporting to the Vice President, Analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering analytics solutions to business users.
• Advanced Power BI with semantic modeling and performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills and relational data concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data preparation.
• Generative AI for analytics and code development with validation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred; manufacturing/distribution domain a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to define KPIs and requirements; own end-to-end delivery.
• Design and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Develop analytics-layer transformations and Fabric structures; support data ingestion.
• Validate data accuracy, document logic, and resolve data issues with governance teams.
• Use generative AI to accelerate SQL/DAX development and documentation.
• Support self-service analytics through training and best-practice guidance.
• Troubleshoot production analytics issues and improve existing solutions.
