Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Senior Analytics Developer to deliver BI solutions across the organization, using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL. This role owns analytics projects from requirements through deployment, reporting to the VP of Analytics, and emphasizes data governance and responsible AI.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, semantic models, and advanced DAX, plus collaborating with governance teams to ensure data quality and trust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, BI, data, or related analytics role.
• Advanced Power BI with DAX, relationships and semantic modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills and relational data concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platform.
• Strong communication, collaboration and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to define KPIs, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and models.
• Develop analytics-layer transformations using Fabric and Azure data tools.
• Validate data accuracy and document lineage; resolve data quality issues.
• Leverage generative AI to accelerate SQL/DAX development with governance.
• Support self-service analytics through training and best-practice guidance.
• Troubleshoot production analytics issues and continuously improve solutions.
