Job summary

Waymo is seeking an Ops Analyst in Demand Operations & Service Quality to deliver analytical support across the team and improve rider experiences. You will build dashboards, diagnose issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven improvements.

The role requires strong SQL skills, fluency in data visualization, and the ability to teach AI-enabled analysis to teammates while operating in a high-growth tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of analytical experience.
• Expert level SQL, Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong communication to senior leadership.
• Bridge between Data Science and Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data Science, Mathematics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical reporting cadences for the Demand & Service Quality Operations team, preparing key reports and diagnosing issues.
• Drive projects to address operational challenges and provide insights to local operations managers.
• Design and develop metrics and dashboards to enable self-serve data access, leveraging AI to improve efficiency.
• Create opportunities to upskill local operations managers in data analysis.
• Communicate business results and insights to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Data Science, Product Management, and User Research to align on opportunities.
