Job summary

Waymo is seeking an Analytics-minded Ops Analyst for Demand Operations & Service Quality to improve rider experiences across local markets. The role focuses on building dashboards, diagnosing issues, and delivering data-driven insights to Ops Managers and leadership.

You will partner with Product Data Science, PM, and User Research to translate data into actionable improvements, mentor teams on AI tools, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in analytical roles.
• Expert level in SQL; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership.
• Bridge between Data Science and Operations to drive improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead reporting cadences for the Demand & Service Quality Ops.
• Drive projects to address operational challenges and improve outcomes.
• Design dashboards and enable self-service data access.
• Upskill local ops managers in data analysis.
• Communicate results to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Partner with Product Data Science, Product Management, User Research to align opportunities.
