Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to define canonical growth metrics and build end-to-end funnel tracking. You will partner with data engineering to ensure reliable instrumentation and serve cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and engineering.

You have 5+ years in a related field, strong Python/SQL skills, and proven data quality and ETL experience. This hybrid role reports to the BI lead and offers growth within a leading autonomous driving company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related technical field with stakeholder management and multi-project prioritization.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
• Experience applying data quality principles and validation processes.
• Strong communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with product management and engineering teams.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and own canonical metrics for growth, activation, promo redemption, and loyalty; partner with data engineering to ensure reliable instrumentation.
• Build and maintain full-funnel performance tracking from paid media to first trip, repeat usage, and retention.
• Own paid media tracking infrastructure and deliver channel-level performance reporting for marketing decisions.
• Support bottom-of-funnel teams with clean, consistently defined promo data.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and surface instrumentation gaps early.
• Deep dive into business performance to inform strategic decisions.
