Job summary

Howden is seeking a data & analytics professional to own and improve live analytic products used by our UK client base and internal teams. You will manage the backlog, govern delivery processes, and work with consultants and directors to translate business needs into robust analytical solutions.

You will operate across Python, Shiny, Quarto, git, and Azure DevOps within a distributed team. Location is flexible with home-based or office options; this is a fast-paced, non-engineering role focused

Qualifications

• Experience delivering analytics products used by business users.
• Experience supporting users of analytic products and handling requests.
• Experience maintaining governance, delivery records and documentation.
• Proficiency with Python and at least one data-UI framework (Shiny/Quarto) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Directly work with consultants and client directors as the primary users and stakeholder contact.
• Triaging questions, requests and changes; scheduling work and ensuring timely delivery.
• Own backlog management in Azure DevOps, release discipline, and governance approvals.
• Maintain governance, documentation and evidence for delivery and assurance obligations.
• Contribute to building new analytics products and reusable components.
