Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Senior Analytical Sciences Leader for the TSMS laboratory in Elwood, KS. You will guide a team of scientists to design and optimize monoclonal antibody processes, drive DoE studies, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to improve cycle time, productivity, and capacity.

Responsibilities include mentoring, maintaining laboratory quality, and ensuring compliance with HSE and regulatory standards while supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing

Qualifications

• MS in Analytical Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in biotech process development or manufacturing technology.
• Experience with mAb process development and analytical development.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of scientists with focus on quality and reproducible results.
• Oversee daily TSMS lab operations ensuring safe, efficient, compliant activities.
• Maintain equipment calibration and inventory to support timely projects.
• Apply DoE to design studies that improve manufacturing processes and metrics.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D to address issues.
