Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH in the United States is seeking a highly skilled scientist to design experimental strategies for analytical methods in biologics development and manufacturing. You will collaborate across R&D core teams and provide early development guidance on project analytics.

Responsibilities include developing and transferring analytical methods for characterization and release testing, establishing control strategies, and presenting data to leadership while training junior staff.

Qualifications

• PhD from an accredited institution with two (2) years of experience in a related scientific discipline; or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a related scientific discipline; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of field and expertise in Biologicals/pharmaceutical life cycle process.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to plan and conduct scientific experiments.

Responsabilités

• Initiates, designs, interprets accurately, troubleshoots and completes routine procedures independently and efficiently; initiates, designs, interprets accurately, troubleshoots and completes non-routine and difficult procedures without supervision; Initiates and conducts exploratory experiments
• Develop, optimize, qualify, validate, and transfer analytical methods for characterization, in-process, release, and stability testing.
• Establish analytical control strategies for biological products and manufacturing processes.
• Present scientific data and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior scientists and laboratory personnel.
