Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks an experienced analytical scientist to join our R&D team in the United States. You will design and execute experiments, develop control strategies for biological products, and transfer methods across projects for robust analytics in development and release testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, present scientific data to leadership, and mentor junior scientists while ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable analytical solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD with 2+ years experience or Master with 6+ years or Bachelor with 10+ years in a related field.
• Experience with regulatory requirements for biologicals/pharmaceutical products.
• Experience in development/qualification/validation and transfer of analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Designs, interprets, troubleshoots and completes analytical procedures, including exploratory experiments.
• Develop, qualify, validate and transfer analytical methods for characterization, in-process, release and stability testing.
• Establish analytical control strategies for biological products and manufacturing processes.
• Present data and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior scientists and lab personnel.
• Propose and evaluate new technologies; apply literature and attend scientific meetings.
