Job summary

Puris is seeking an Enterprise Senior Analytical Chemist to lead an analytical strategy ensuring safe, high-quality food products. You will oversee QC processes, collaborate with plant teams, and drive continuous improvement across laboratories in Dawson, Minnesota.

The role requires PCQI/HACCP and SQF certification, 5+ years in analysis or QA leadership, and a track record of developing SOPs and KPI-driven improvements. Expect cross-site coordination, budgeting, and strong team leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years Production, Laboratory, or Food Safety Management experience.
• PCQI/HACCP, SQF certified.
• Strong analytical, investigative and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Owns co-man & Plant B product release and ensures harmonization between co-man, Plant B and enterprise product release practices, included LIMS, and ERP implementation.
• Serves as a backup for product release at Dawson.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Food Safety and Quality reporting, product test results, product release information, and PCQI daily batch record review.
• New product and commercialization scale up.
• Quality Team Leadership and develop high-performing teams; lead and coach Lab Technicians.
• Coordinate 3rd party laboratory testing, support and qualification.
• Lead and collaborate on site and product validation/verification efforts, including CIP, ATP, Allergen, etc.
