Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to advance our plant-based ingredients mission in Randolph, MN. You will implement and maintain SQF QMS, oversee documentation, and support FSQR processes to ensure Safe People, Safe Food, Safe Planet.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of QA experience and certifications like PCQI, HACCP, or SQF. The role offers competitive benefits and a pathway to growth within PURIS’ expanding operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related field experience desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
• PCQI Certification or obtainable within ~6 months.
• HACCP Certification or obtainable within ~6 months.
• SQF Practitioner certification or obtainable within ~6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SQF QMS implementation and maintenance to meet GFSI standards (HACCP, GMP, Sanitation, Pest Control).
• Maintain document control and ensure policy updates are executed across quality systems.
• Ensure compliance objectives and targets are achieved.
• Maintain Food Safety Plan knowledge and validate preventive controls with evidence.
• Review monitoring and verification records for 100% compliance.
• Generate COAs and support FSQR process optimization.
• Investigate FSQR incidents and lead root-cause analysis with timely corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits and site inspections for FSQR, FSMA, and customer requirements.
