Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support the South Florida Region, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. You will analyze market conditions using JLL data and external sources, then craft compelling market stories for brokers, investors, and clients.

You will produce quarterly market reports, contribute to key research outputs, and present findings to clients while collaborating with internal and external teams across the Americas Research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, economics, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate research, market analysis, economics, or a related analytical field.

Senior Research Analyst

What this job involves

Our Senior Research Analyst will support the South Florida Region—encompassing Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties—using data from JLL and other sources to analyze market conditions and effectively tell the commercial real estate story to our brokers, investors, and other clients. You will track and analyze the South Florida commercial real estate market with a focus on trend analysis, market presentation, strategic business development support and research content creation. You will work closely with external research colleagues, brokerage professionals and clients in the local market, as well as with research colleagues throughout the nation within JLL's Americas Research group.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Become an expert on the local economy, job and industry makeup, demographics and local market company growth across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties to tell a compelling story about the local market
• Analyze underlying economic demand trends that inform real estate demand
• Write quarterly market reports to explain market shifts for the South Florida market
• Contribute to the production of key research reports providing a unique house view on market drivers and influencers across South Florida's three counties
• Present findings to JLL clients, investors and brokers on prevailing market conditions
• Manage the statistical and analytical quality of data for South Florida, including supply and demand conditions for research and development properties
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of research as a differentiator including being personally client facing and externally focused on new and existing business efforts
• Work with sales enablement, marketing teams and business leaders to position research to contribute to all business development efforts
• Partner with brokerage leaders to contribute to business development efforts and grow the business
• Keep track and inform brokerage leaders of local and national commercial real estate news
• Regularly update current tenant information for essential properties in the market

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, economics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate research, market analysis, economics, or a related analytical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in statistics that can evaluate large data sets to understand dependent and independent variables
• Curious and interested in commercial real estate
• Ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance output and create efficiencies
• Proactive and strategic thinking and ability to lead research initiatives, align research with the business, and innovate research output for a rapidly changing industry and product type
• Confident presenting to and facilitating discussions with both internal and external stakeholders, media, and leadership with the ability to lead and run productive meetings
• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, and willing to adopt and explore emerging technology and AI innovation to advance research methodologies and CRE projects
• Command of economic and business drivers with good understanding of macro trends and historical perspective
