Job summary

FYI - For Your Information, Inc. is seeking an experienced workforce analysis professional to lead career progression initiatives across SA, TLE, and UD/SSP roles within a federal context.

The role entails reviewing existing frameworks, conducting benchmarking, and facilitating stakeholder input to shape competency models and advancement criteria. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 8+ years in related work, including coordination with federal stakeholders, and can guide implementation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Policy, HR, or related field.
• 8+ years in workforce analysis, HR consulting, or law enforcement projects.
• Experience supporting federal HR, law enforcement, or workforce modernization projects of similar size and complexity.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with federal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess career progression frameworks, promotion processes, policies, practices, competency models, and workforce data for SA, TLE, and UD/SSP positions.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and benchmarking to identify career progression trends, gaps, barriers, best practices, and innovative approaches.
• Facilitate stakeholder focus groups, interviews, and/or surveys and analyze feedback regarding career paths, barriers, opportunities, and operational considerations.
• Design and refine career progression models, including competency frameworks, alternative career tracks, mobility options, cross-job-series opportunities, and advancement criteria.
• Develop consolidated career progression recommendations, implementation strategies, and roadmaps addressing dependencies, risks, change management, communication considerations, resource needs, and implementation considerations.
• Support development and validation of career progression tools, training and support materials, reports, technical reports, presentations, and executive briefings.
• Provide consultation and technical assistance during implementation and support post-deployment evaluation activities.
