Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Analog Power Design Engineer to develop next-generation power management ICs. You will drive architecture, design, and validation of high-performance PMICs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to set new benchmarks in efficiency and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design and experience with DC-DC converters. Hybrid onsite work is available in Richardson, TX or San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
8+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
6+ years in analog and mixed-signal IC design with DC-DC power converters.
Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Simplis, ADS, and EMIR tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of high-performance analog power management ICs for efficiency and reliability.
Define product architecture with system engineers.
Select circuit topologies ensuring robustness and manufacturability.
Perform transistor-level design, simulation, and validation.
Collaborate with layout to optimize floor planning and silicon performance.
Coordinate with global teams to align development strategies.
Define validation methodologies and production test strategies.
