Job summary

OLIX is seeking a Senior Analog Layout Designer to create layouts for RX/TX lane macros and support lane-level integration on the DX-1 accelerator. You will contribute to tape-outs and ensure robust layout design across advanced FinFET processes.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of analog layout experience, strong LVS/DRC knowledge, and hands-on Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre verification. This on-site Austin role offers equity, a proximity bonus, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Analog Layout Design experience.
• Understanding of Semiconductor Fabrication process and device/layout cross-sections.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with 2nm-5nm FinFET processes (TSMC).
• Several tape-outs with FinFET processes; owning major layout macros.
• Expert-level block/macro floor-planning, routing, clock distribution, and power grid implementation.
• Expert-level knowledge of LVS/ERC/DRC/Density/DFM/Antenna verifications.
• Expert-level knowledge of EM/IR analysis.
• Experience with revision-controlled design libraries.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise layout performance.
