Job summary

OLIX is seeking a Senior Analog Layout Designer to create RX/TX lane macros and support lane-level integration for the DX-1 accelerator family. You will drive advanced layout efforts across multiple FinFET nodes and ensure robust LVS/DRC/DFM verification.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, and Pegasus, plus strong cross-functional collaboration and scripting in Python or TCL. This is a fast-paced, highly technical environment in Austin.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analog layout design experience.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and device/layout cross-sections.
• Experience with TSMC FinFET 2nm–5nm processes.
• Tape-outs with FinFET processes and major layout macros.
• Expert-level floor-planning, integration, routing, clock distribution, and power grid implementation.
• Expert-level knowledge of layout effects and EMI/noise considerations.
• Experience with LVS/ERC/DRC/Density/DFM/Antenna verifications.
• Experience with EM/IR analysis and revision-controlled design libraries.

Responsibilities

• Create layouts for RX/TX lane macros and support lane-level integration.
• Lead block/macro floor-planning, routing, and clock distribution.
• Oversee tape-out verifications and ensure design rules are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain libraries.
