Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks an Architect to design and verify CMOS analog blocks for custom ASICs, including Rx, Tx, PLL and high-precision circuits to meet performance, area, power and timeline constraints.

Collaboration with digital and systems teams is essential. The role requires an advanced degree and 5–8 years of analog design experience, with strong DDR I/O and signal integrity knowledge and proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Maestro, Spectre, and HSPICE.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Electronics/Microelectronics Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of analog circuit design experience (3-6 years with Ph.D.).
• Deep understanding of high-speed DDR I/O interface design and optimization.
• Proficiency with analog design tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Maestro, Spectre, HSPICE) and simulation techniques.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity.
• Strong understanding of general analog design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Analog circuit design, including DDR I/O interfaces and high-precision blocks.
• Design and optimize DDR I/O interfaces, ensuring signal integrity and performance.
• RX design: develop and enhance analog receiver circuits (CTLE, VGA, DFE, slicer).
• TX design: develop analog transmitter circuits (driver, impedance, calibration).
• Collaborate with digital design, systems engineers and stakeholders for integration.
• Perform design verification with simulations and testing; implement corrective actions.
• Create detailed design documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and pursue innovations for low-power designs.
