Job summary

Planet Group is seeking a Senior Product Analytics Consultant with deep Amplitude expertise to lead analytics across 70+ web, mobile, and cloud applications in Chicago.

You will partner with product, engineering, QA, and leadership to define KPIs, design tracking taxonomies, and deliver executive dashboards driving growth strategies. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or BI.
• Must-have Amplitude expertise: design, implementation, and analysis of user behavior.
• Deep understanding of activation, retention, churn, and user segmentation.
• Experience defining event taxonomies, QA, and troubleshooting reporting issues.
• Excellent client-facing and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Amplitude dashboards, funnels, retention cohorts, and user journeys.
• Define event instrumentation, user properties, and KPI mappings across apps.
• Identify data quality gaps, validate tracking, and enforce governance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA to ensure accurate data capture.
• Create analytics documentation and self-serve reporting for teams.
