Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Technician 3 to maintain, repair, and inspect ammonia refrigeration systems in our Production facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and stay compliant with safety documentation under modest supervision.

The role requires extensive experience with ammonia systems, PSM knowledge, and the ability to work with a diverse team. On-site, 10–12 hour shifts with potential overtime and weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and Process Safety Management (PSM) is required.
• CMMS experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs and inspects ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and responds to system interruptions.
• Keeps safety and process documentation up to date (SOPs, LOTO, P&ID).
• Operates and troubleshoots machinery; diagnoses root causes of malfunctions.
• Must be able to pass annual medical and pulmonary fit tests for respirator use.
