Job summary

Reddy Ice Corporation seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support reliable operation and maintenance of plant equipment and refrigeration systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, read blueprints, and ensure safety and efficiency in a busy ice production facility.

Role requires extensive maintenance certs, ammonia refrigeration expertise, and the ability to improve processes using lean tools and data analysis.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of work experience in an industrial maintenance operation.
• Maintenance Certification from ONE of the listed authorities.
• Completion of TWO of the listed Certifications.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is required in the experience section.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment; troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• May operate processing machinery and reduce downtime of equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and technical docs for proper maintenance.
• Maintain and service equipment including ice makers, compressors, heat exchangers and refrigeration systems.
• Ensure equipment is functional and supplies are ready for production.
• Inventory control of repair parts and ready service equipment.
• Inspect ice quality and process parameters to ensure product specs.
• Root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
• Assist with basic facility maintenance and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
