Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a skilled technician to install and repair industrial refrigeration equipment in line with blueprints and specs. You will perform preventive maintenance on ammonia systems, uphold Process Safety Management principles, and maintain comprehensive logs and paperwork.

The role requires reading and speaking English and compliance with federal and state laws. The candidate must handle varied environments—hot, cold, wet—and work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration.
• Able to work flexible start times and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Able to work in hot, cold and wet environments.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Able to stand, squat and climb on a regular basis.
• Ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Installation and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment in accordance to blueprints and engineering specs.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Provide preventive maintenance to the ammonia systems.
• Maintain logs and paperwork.
• Comply with federal and state laws.
