Job summary

Refrigeration Systems Construction & Service Company seeks experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians to perform in-field troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. You will diagnose issues, communicate with customers, and help keep critical systems operating safely and reliably.

Ideal candidates have hands-on ammonia field-service experience, strong workmanship, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team across a growing service footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial ammonia refrigeration systems required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read P&IDs and schematics.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose issues with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, and startups.
• Read and work from P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and teams.
• Maintain accurate field documentation and uphold safety practices.
• Help customers reduce downtime and improve reliability.
