Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an experienced Ammonia Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related electrical components. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and build infrastructure service, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on expertise with motorized lifts, refrigerants, and electrical instrumentation; candidates should be comfortable in cold storage environments and weekend shifts as

Qualifications

• 3 years mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts and equipment in warehouse/processing/manufacturing environments.
• 2 years pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical experience in automated sites.
• 2 years industrial refrigeration experience (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2) or equivalent with trade school.
• Completion of Refrigeration Operator 1 or CARO within 6 months of hire.
• Basic electrical instrumentation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings.
• Proficient Word and Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and lift 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends; comfortable with noise; height safety may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and evaluate electrical systems per codes and standards.
• Maintain, repair and evaluate refrigeration systems as instructed by leadership.
• Maintain, repair and evaluate building infrastructure.
• Maintain, repair and evaluate material handling equipment.
• Complete work orders and log tasks in CMMS daily.
• Report inspections and maintenance activities to leadership daily.
• Monitor contractors for safety and compliance.
• Operate onsite motorized lift as needed for maintenance.
