Job summary

Mount Adams Fruit is seeking an experienced Ammonia/Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic to lead the refrigeration team at one of our locations with ammonia systems. You will oversee operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of refrigeration facilities to ensure reliability and safety.

The role requires strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration, hands-on troubleshooting, and mentoring staff while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with ammonia/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EPA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead refrigeration team and oversee ammonia systems operation.
• Install, repair and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and controls.
• Ensure safety standards and environmental guidelines are followed.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain records of performance and compliance.
