Job summary

Service Credit Union in Rochester, NH seeks a Senior BSA Investigator to detect complex AML and financial crime activity across monitoring platforms. You will review alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and file SARs/CTRs while coordinating with internal and external partners.

The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) with compensation from $26.93 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or prior experience in law enforcement or financial crime AML/BSA/Fraud positions.
• Two years’ experience in financial and/or banking compliance such as AML, KYC, Fraud, Operations.
• Analytical, investigative and effective communication skills across phone, email and messaging.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with fraud/AML monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Review alerts and reports from BSA/AML monitoring platforms and interpret evolving patterns of suspicious behavior.
• Investigate activity and prepare SARs and CTRs for filing with FinCEN.
• Monitor real-time queues for OFAC surveillance and document findings.
• Research individuals, businesses, and locations online to detect patterns of financial crime.
• Perform CIP, CDD and EDD processes and engage with members via phone and email.
• Collaborate across lines of business and provide training on AML compliance.
