Job summary

Las Vegas-based MGM Resorts International seeks a Senior Internal Auditor – AML to support audits focused on anti-money laundering controls and regulatory requirements in a highly regulated gaming environment.

The role evaluates internal controls, ensures AML compliance, and identifies financial crime risks across casino and corporate operations, partnering with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CIA/CPA/CISA preferred for advanced roles.
• 2+ years of prior auditing, accounting, or related field experience.
• Graduate degree or certifications can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess compliance with governmental and company policies to protect assets.
• Review transactions, documents, records, and procedures during audits.
• Manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment.
• Collaborate with audit team, provide timely updates to supervisors.
• Develop audit scope and testing procedures with input from the team.
• Provide training and guidance to internal staff on audits.
