Job summary

EY Consulting is seeking an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program Management Senior Manager to help Power & Utilities plan and deliver large-scale AMI transformations. You will lead multi-workstream teams across PMO, organizational change management, field deployment, and vendor coordination, shaping opportunities from pursuit to delivery.

The role requires senior stakeholder engagement, delivery leadership, and the ability to travel 65–80% with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• AMI program management experience with direct delivery accountability.
• Experience leading large North American AMI deployments across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Experience in professional services/consulting delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and client delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate meetings, translate business needs into action plans, and maintain momentum.
• Strong executive communication, analytical and problem-solving skills for client and EY leadership.
• Experience leading multi-vendor delivery with milestone-based fees and change control.
• Business development contribution, including shaping pursuits and RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AMI pursuits and delivery engagements with a focus on quality, risk management, client service, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead AMI program management pursuits, including strategy, pricing, proposals, and approvals.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums.
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, design, requirements, readiness, field deployment and testing.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, dependency management and reporting.
• Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics, including scope and staffing.
