Job summary

EY Consulting in the United States seeks an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program Management Senior Manager to lead AMI programs for Power & Utilities. You will shape opportunities, guide PMO governance, and drive multi-workstream delivery across planning, deployment, and organizational change.

As a senior leader, you will build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders, lead flagship engagements, and mentor teams across PMO, change management, and field deployment while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, business or related field.
Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience with hands-on accountability.
Experience leading at least one large-scale North American AMI deployment.
Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
Approximately 3+ years of consulting experience with client service delivery and stakeholder management.
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and delivery.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain delivery momentum in dynamic environments.
Strong executive communication, presentation and analytical skills with clear recommendations for EY leadership.
Ability to lead inclusive teams and contribute to account growth or business development.
Experience leading multi-vendor program delivery with milestone-based fees and change control.
Business development contribution for AMI or similar utility programs.
Experience engaging senior utility stakeholders in complex governance environments.
Experience leading large, multi-workstream engagement teams including onshore/offshore delivery.
Willingness to travel 65–80%.

Responsibilities

Lead AMI program management pursuits, including strategy, pricing, proposals and approvals.
Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums.
Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, design, requirements, readiness, field deployment, testing and operations.
Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, planning, RAID and vendor coordination.
Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics, including scope and change orders.
Develop AMI delivery methods, reusable assets and coach workstream leads.
