Job summary

CFA Institute seeks a Senior Manager, Society Relations for the Americas to lead relationships with large, complex societies, strengthen governance, and align local efforts with CFA Institute strategy.

You will advise boards and executives, shape business planning, and drive member value while collaborating across teams. Travel of 15–20% is expected; Spanish fluency is strongly preferred and a governance credential is desirable.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in association management or related field.
• Experience advising senior volunteers, boards, and executives.
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred; a certified association executive designation or governance credential is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships for Americas societies and align boards with CFA Institute strategy.
• Provide governance, business planning, organisational effectiveness, and member value guidance.
• Review business plans, year-end reports, funding requests and performance data to assess alignment, risk and impact.
• Escalate significant governance, financial, stakeholder or reputational risks with analysis and recommended next steps.
