Job summary

CFA Institute seeks a Manager, Society Relations for the Americas to serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of CFA Societies. You will work with boards, staff and volunteers to translate goals into practical actions and track progress against priorities.

You'll collaborate with Society Operations, Communications, Membership, Education and Marketing to deliver joined-up support, while guiding governance and funding workflows across the region.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in association management or related field.
• Experience managing stakeholder or client relationships and volunteers.
• Background in planning, project coordination and governance support.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders and markets.
• Strong relationship management and consulting skills.
• Excellent organisation, planning and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with boards, staff and volunteers through regular check-ins.
• Support annual and strategic planning and governance alignment.
• Review business plans, spot gaps and track commitments and funded initiatives.
• Offer governance guidance and connect societies to tools and experts.
• Help societies develop funding requests, budgets and success measures.
• Coordinate with Society Operations, Communications, Membership, Education and Marketing.
• Escalate complex governance or financial issues to senior colleagues.
