Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, Wisconsin is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Lead to drive technical readiness and scalability for new plant launches. You will lead cross-functional PMO workstreams and ensure processes, equipment, and layouts meet program requirements.

The role blends manufacturing engineering, automation, and digital tooling to optimize ramp-ups, with travel to plant sites as needed and close collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering, process development, or plant launch support.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, process validation, and layout design.
• Strong understanding of automation, digital manufacturing tools, and lean principles.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel to plant sites as needed to support program deployment.
• Experience with CAD, MES, or other manufacturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AME workstream lead on cross-functional programs and projects, representing manufacturing engineering in PMO planning and execution.
• Deploy to plant sites to support equipment installation, process validation, and layout optimization.
• Partner with PMO teams to ensure manufacturing engineering deliverables are aligned with program timelines and launch goals.
• Lead efforts to integrate automation, digital tools, and advanced technologies into new manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products.
• Support the development of standard work, process documentation, and training materials.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during launch phases, escalating risks as needed.
• Provide feedback to the Manufacturing Excellence Director and PMO leadership on technical readiness and improvement opportunities.
