Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Lead to drive technical readiness and scalable processes for new plant launches. You will work as a PMO workstream lead, deploying to startup sites to ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts meet program requirements and standards.

You will partner with PMO and engineering teams to integrate automation and digital tools, lead process validation, and develop standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, or plant launch support.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, process validation, and layout design.
• Knowledge of automation, digital manufacturing tools, and lean principles; strong PM and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with CAD, MES, or other manufacturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AME workstream lead on cross-functional programs and projects, representing manufacturing engineering in PMO planning and execution.
• Deploy to plant sites to support equipment installation, process validation, and layout optimization.
• Partner with PMO teams to ensure manufacturing engineering deliverables are aligned with program timelines and launch goals.
• Lead efforts to integrate automation, digital tools, and advanced technologies into new manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products.
• Support the development of standard work, process documentation, and training materials.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during launch phases, escalating risks as needed.
• Provide feedback to the Manufacturing Excellence Director and PMO leadership on technical readiness and improvement opportunities.
