Job summary

Constellation West, a renowned IT and systems engineering services provider, is seeking a Specialized Senior Engineer at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The role focuses on AMDOTS data collection, RMU interfaces, and Protogate Freeway design within a DoD environment requiring TS/SCI access.

The successful candidate will design, configure, and operate FreeBSD-based systems, coordinate RMU tasks, and maintain extensive documentation while traveling to mission sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, Protogate Freeway design and configuration, and FreeBSD operation.
• IAT Level II certification in accordance with the solicitation's cited DoD 8570.01-M requirement.
• TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI access; must have TS/SCI access when required to perform work at specified classified facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support AMDOTS automated data collection, retrieval, processing, transmission, and analysis capabilities.
• Design, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Protogate Freeway components and associated AMDOTS/RMU interfaces.
• Operate and support FreeBSD environments used in the AMDOTS architecture.
• Support RMU installation, administration, maintenance, network configuration, system/application/security configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical procedures, system configuration documentation, interface information, disaster-recovery/contingency documentation, and site as-built documentation.
• Travel to mission sites as required to install equipment, load software, troubleshoot systems, and support technical activities.
