Job summary

Constellation West seeks a Specialized Senior Engineer to support AMDOTS data collection, RMU interfaces, and FreeBSD environments at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. You will design, configure, and troubleshoot Protogate Freeway components and ensure secure data handling for DoD missions.

The role requires hands-on experience with AMDOTS/RMU systems, data analysis capabilities, and a TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility for on-site work. Occasional travel to mission sites is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, Protogate Freeway design and configuration, and FreeBSD operation.
• IAT Level II certification in accordance with the solicitation's cited DoD 8570.01-M requirement.
• TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI access; must have TS/SCI access when required to perform work at specified classified facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support AMDOTS automated data collection, retrieval, processing, transmission, and analysis capabilities.
• Design, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Protogate Freeway components and associated AMDOTS/RMU interfaces.
• Operate and support FreeBSD environments used in the AMDOTS architecture.
• Support RMU installation, administration, maintenance, network configuration, system/application/security configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical procedures, system configuration documentation, interface information, disaster-recovery/contingency documentation, and site as‑built documentation.
• Travel to mission sites as required to install equipment, load software, troubleshoot systems, and support technical activities.
