Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks an Operations Manager to support clinical practice efficiency, staff coordination, and administrative performance across multiple ambulatory locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.

The role serves as a critical liaison between clinical teams, administrative departments, leadership, and offsite locations to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of care, while providing on-site resources to optimize practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in healthcare operations.
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., Excel).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong workflow analysis and business process integration.
• Lead others for implementation of projects and organizational workflow redesign

Responsibilities

• Determines and explains complex calls and issues not covered by standard practice.
• Ensures continuity of care across locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
• Improves practice operations through meaningful use reporting and EPIC work queues.
• Oversees coordination, integration and evaluation of practice operations and policies.
• Identifies workflow inefficiencies and implements targeted solutions.
• Act as primary contact between departments to align daily operations and goals.
• Oversees training programs on policies and procedures to maintain standardization.
• Bridges clinical teams, administrative departments, and external stakeholders.
