Job summary

Precise Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer in Washington, DC to support Navy and submarine programs. You will lead AM engineering efforts, review designs, optimize print parameters, and coordinate with Materials Engineers to ensure quality and production readiness.

This in-person role requires a Secret clearance, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex propulsion components and additive processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum ten years of propulsion component design or metallic additive technologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to brief senior leaders.
• Experience with DoD programs and Navy acquisition is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop Acquisition Management solutions for Navy programs.
• Provide AM engineering consulting and participate in technical reviews.
• Analyze systems and sub-systems for operability, merit, and risk.
• Review production data, prepare and evaluate AM changes, assess production readiness.
• Lead and coordinate team efforts; develop mitigation strategies and schedules.
• Document results and mature development processes for production.
