Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to support Navy submarine programs in Washington, D.C. You will provide technical and programmatic AM support, review data, perform analyses, and help optimize print parameters and production processes.

The role requires leading and collaborating with engineers, with travel up to 10% and in-person work. A Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in propulsion component design or metallic additive technologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to meet program milestones.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop Acquisition Management solutions for AM.
• Provide AM engineering consulting and conduct analyses of operability, merit, and schedule risk.
• Review production design data; test and evaluate AM changes; analyze production feasibility.
• Coordinate with technical directorate and mitigate production risk.
• Communicate results to responsible engineers and mature development processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

Master's degree in aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering
