Precise Systems, Inc. in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to support Navy submarine programs, providing technical and programmatic AM expertise on PMS450 and Team Submarine offices.

You will lead design, development, and testing of powder-bed and powder-fed additive processes, generate optimized build files, and collaborate with Materials Engineers to set print parameters and heat treatments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum ten years of propulsion component design or metallic additive technologies.
• Experience briefing senior leaders is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan and develop acquisition management solutions and support mid-level initiatives.
• Provide AM engineering consulting and participate in technical reviews.
• Review production design data; prepare and evaluate AM changes.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for production and migration.
• Lead and coordinate teams when needed.
