Job summary
Druva is seeking a Senior Dell Alliances Sales Engineer to lead the technical relationship with Dell in the Americas, driving growth of PowerProtect Backup Services. You will serve as the primary technical advisor, collaborating with Dell Alliance Managers to craft innovative business plans and enablement programs.
A Data Protection expert with SaaS experience is preferred. The role demands strategic thinking, strong technical enablement, and the ability to translate customer needs into Druva’s
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technical/customer-facing roles with at least 3+ years as a Sales Engineer.
- 3+ years in a pre-sales role with enterprise software solutions (Backup and SaaS experience a plus).
- Experience with Active Directory, SSO Tools, SCCM/Casper Deployment tools, Virtual environments (VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Bandwidth Management, Firewalls) and Cloud Technologies using AWS/Azure.
Responsibilities
- Drive new and incremental revenue through Dell PowerProtect Backup Services (PPBS) revenue via strategic partnerships.
- Build and manage technical relationships with the Dell team.
- Lead technical discussions with Dell partners on the PPBS value for clients.
- Develop and execute enablement plans with joint executive support and budgets.
- Prepare partner demos and proofs of concepts for PPBS use cases.
