Job summary

Apogee Research seeks an experienced algorithm engineer to design, implement, and validate algorithms for networking, data fusion, resource management, and distributed warfare systems. Candidates should bring strong theory with real‑world application, and some software development experience is preferred.

The role is based in our Arlington, VA office. DoD Top Secret clearance is strongly preferred; US citizenship is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Mix of academic theory and real-world applications of relevant algorithms.
• Not an entry level position; real-world experience required.
• Some software development experience preferred, though role focuses on algorithm design and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate new algorithms across networking, data fusion, resource management, EW, and C2 domains.
• Analyze open-loop and closed-loop stability using analysis, simulation, and experiments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to apply research techniques to real-world problems.
• Ensure solutions meet DoD requirements and performance benchmarks.
