The role emphasizes IaC, Ansible automation, and scalable, secure infrastructure with strong collaboration with architecture, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years in systems engineering or 12+ years with HS/GED.
• Expert-level IBM AIX 7.x and IBM Power Systems (Power9/Power10).
• Hands-on Ansible development (7+ years).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise AIX platform solutions.
• Develop platform standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives and lifecycle management strategies.
• Develop reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, inventories, and automation frameworks.
• Build CI/CD integration for infrastructure automation workflows.
• Engineer self-service provisioning and platform automation capabilities.
