Truist in Raleigh, NC seeks a senior AIX/Power infrastructure engineer to design, build, manage, and implement enterprise AIX/Power platforms across cloud, network, storage, and middleware domains, driving high availability and performance through automation, standardization, and proactive governance; you will lead cross-functional teams and influence architectural decisions.

The role requires leadership across cross-functional teams and adherence to regulatory and security standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, storage, database, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise AIX/Power infrastructure platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
• Develops and applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance.
• Manages large AIX/Power infrastructure projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate new technologies and improve standards and processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting AIX/Power infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Ensures compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Reviews designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to AIX/Power teams and professionals.
• Demonstrates innovative influence with stakeholders to support business and technical objectives.
