Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a hands-on RF AIT Engineer to execute, integrate, test, and debug flight RF hardware for a rapid LEO satellite program, building and validating systems from bench checks to launch readiness. You will work closely with TT&C and GPS leads to translate released designs into flight‑ready hardware, owning RF assemblies, antennas, harnesses, and test racks.

This role is a build, test, and fix position, not documentation or coordination, requiring proactive troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on RF experience
• Strong practical RF experience across common TT&C frequency bands
• Hands-on experience with RF assemblies, coax harness fabrication, antennas, RF subsystems, and test equipment

Responsibilities

• Execute integration and verification testing for TT&C and GPS flight hardware.
• Own hands-on integration and test of radios, antennas, RF harnessing, and RF racks.
• Fabricate, inspect, and validate coaxial cable assemblies and connector terminations.
• Design, assemble and sustain RF racks and associated test infrastructure; automate RF tests.
• Support launch site operations with last-minute RF troubleshooting and configuration validation.
