Job summary

Loft, Space Made Simple, is seeking a Lead AIT Technician to guide our Assembly, Integration, and Test team on spacecraft hardware in Golden, CO. You will stay hands-on while developing technicians, mentoring the team, and upholding high workmanship standards in collaboration with AIT Engineers and cross-functional partners.

As a senior leader, you’ll help shape build procedures, support continuous improvement, and ensure safe, organized production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience assembling and integrating spacecraft, aerospace hardware, or similarly complex high‑reliability hardware.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and/or managing technicians in an assembly/production environment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, 3D models, specs, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, integration, inspection, and rework of spacecraft hardware as a senior member of the AIT technician team.
• Mentor and develop AIT Technicians, providing feedback and coaching for growth.
• Serve as a technical reference to reinforce workmanship standards and best practices.
