Job summary

Loft Federal seeks a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to manage multi-mission spacecraft programs, collaborating with internal teams on budgets, requirements, and verification. You will shape CONOPS, support customer SLAs, and contribute to program management while developing interface specs and test procedures.

You will participate in spacecraft integration and test campaigns at the manufacturer’s facility and engage with cross-functional teams across satellite operation software and payload

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret; SCI desired.
• Experience as a technical specialist on spacecraft subsystems and system-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, system requirements, and verification approaches for missions.
• Shape concepts of operations (CONOPS) and support Service Level Agreements.
• Create interface specifications, CONOPS, and key design documentation; support test procedures.
• Assist spacecraft integration and test campaigns at the manufacturer's facility.
