Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Airframe Design Supervisor in San Diego, CA. The role leads a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, production support, and continuous improvement of aircraft structural systems.

Ideal candidate has 15+ years of leadership in airframe design, strong expertise in composite and metallic structures, and can drive production transition. DoD Secret Clearance is required; CREO/NX/MBD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees may reduce experience required.
• 15+ years in leadership roles (Lead/Supervisor/Manager) in airframe design.
• Experience designing composite and/or metallic aircraft/spacecraft structures; production transition experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for design, development, production support, and continuous improvement of aircraft structural systems.
• Work on advanced aerospace platforms and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive innovative solutions to improve aircraft performance, manufacturability, and affordability.
• Provide direct impact on current production programs and future aircraft development efforts.
