The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of mechanical design experience, particularly in aircraft structures, and be proficient in 3D CAD, especially SolidWorks. A competitive salary ranging from $145,000 to $175,000 is offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical design experience, with direct aircraft design experience.
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering fundamentals: structures, fluid systems, thermal management, and mechanisms.
• Proficiency in first-order structural analysis and hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for key UAV subsystems.
• Develop manufacturable airframe designs optimized for flight performance.
• Create and maintain high-quality 3D CAD models and manufacturing documentation.
